Duty Manager- Leisure Centre Start date ASAP

Duty Manager Job Description

The following list is not exhaustive but serves as an indication of what the role encompasses:

  • Lifeguard support for both College and Enterprises sessions.
  •  Daily pool testing and checking of the pool plant areas.
  •  Weekly pool backwashing.
  • Changeover of pool chemicals.
  •  Stock control and ordering of the pool chemicals.
  • Management of the swimming pool plant contractors for servicing and repairs.
  • Management of the centre’s cleaning stock.
  •  Assisting Duty Managers in maintaining the site’s Risk Assessments and Operating Procedures.
  •  Daily supervision of the Sport and Leisure Centre’s cleaning support.
  • Pool set ups and set downs, as required by the pool programme.
  • Dealing with enquiries regarding swim school and sports hall hire.
  • Bookings and payments through our web-based booking system.
  • To understand your own responsibilities, be committed to and comply with Foundation policies and procedures relating to child protection, health & safety, welfare, security, diversity & equality, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any concerns to the appropriate person.
  • To work collaboratively with the wider business and act in the interests of the Foundation at all times.
  •  To support the delivery of the Foundation’s strategy as it relates to this post.

Casual Lifeguard

Are you lifeguard qualified? We are looking for qualified lifeguards to join our team on a casual basis. The position involves Lifeguarding our swim school & hirer's, keeping poolside and changing rooms clean & tidy and setting up the sports hall as required. Evening and weekend work. 

£9.00per hour
